NZ Paragliding competition rules

2009/2010 Competitions...


General
New competition rules apply for the 2009/10 season ( link above). There are now two FAI CAT2 comps of 6-7 days duration to be held in the 09/10 season. See calendar below. The new rules also allow for regional weekend competitions to be called at 5 days notice by posting on the website but clubs will be encouraged to give more notice where possible. Check the Forum on the website in the week leading up to each competition for any notices. Competition rules require that every pilot shall fly with: emergency parachute;altimeter; helmet; protective backplate; UHF radio; GPS; and a current WOF.If you are flying in FAI recognised competitions (and want your points recorded by the FAI in the world rankings) you will need to have an FAI Sports Licence. The licence is valid for one year.

Dates: Feb 20 to 27 2010
Sites: Paeroas, Kaimais.
Cost:Before 31 Jan $125 includes fees, levies, social functions, maps and T shirt.
Late registration after 31 Jan = $ 135 and NO T SHIRT.
