NZ Paragliding competition rules

2009/2010 Competitions...


General
New competition rules will apply for the 2009/10 season ( link above). The proposed rules will become final from 10 July at which time clubs will be requested to submit bids for the two rounds of the NZ open. A calendar for these comps will be posted here approx mid August The new rules will allow for regional competitions to be called at 5 days notice by posting on the web site but clubs will be encouraged to give more notice where possible. Check the Forum on the web site in the week leading up to each competition for any notices. Competition rules require that every pilot shall fly with: emergency parachute;altimeter; helmet; protective backplate; UHF radio; GPS; and a current WOF.If you are flying in FAI recognised competitions (and want your points recorded by the FAI in the world rankings) you will need to have an FAI Sports Licence.
