Midweek flying - Auckland

Hi Guys

Just wondered whether any of you Auckland PG/HG pilots are flying during the week at all - I am in the enviable position of being able to take a day off during the week, however I ideally don't want to turn up at sites and be the only person flying (rather dangerous if anything goes wrong!). If there's anyone else in this situation, perhaps we could buddy up and arrange to fly at the same place together.
I often fly at Kario when it's on, but would also like to fly Dills/Moirs and some of the other XC sites around Auckland given the opportunity. I am also more than happy to share driving/petrol costs etc.

Hi Matt, I'm a weekender only but suggest you mail Joe Ward or Carolyn Day who edit our club newsletter and post in that as well. There's a few shift workers in AKL who fly mid-week or "skivers" who carry their wing perpetually in the boot of their car who are always checking for flying buddies.
